Liv for LAMDA
LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) Grade Exams are a brilliant way to build on your acting performance skills and knowledge. Very similar to music grade exams, LAMDA requires you to prepare and deliver two performance pieces, either as a solo performer presenting a monologue or as part of a duo in a short scene together, as well as demonstrate knowledge on the performance by answering questions given by the examiner.
Your first session will be free of charge and we will work together to determine the ideal grade to enter you in, this can be from Entry Level to anywhere from Grade 1 to 8. We will work together to prepare your performance pieces and rehearse interview skills for the question section of the exam.

Liv for SQA
Liv for Performance offers tutoring sessions for National 4 and 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher Drama both as solo sessions and group rehearsals. We will look at the performance pieces you are working on and develop them together as well as working on the written aspect of the examination. This session is very much up to the individual in terms of what is covered in each meeting, whether you need help specifically with one aspect of the exam process or if you would like support overall.

Liv for Audition Prep
Do you have an audition coming up and want to make sure you are ready? Our Liv for Audition Prep class allows you to work one to one on your audition pieces and allows you to practise shaking the pre-audition nerves. This can be booked as a one-time session to have some outsider feedback on your pieces, or if the audition process has left you feeling nervous and unsure about where to start you can book in for a few sessions where we can stat the audition process from the very beginning together. You will be able to choose and rehearse your pieces with Liv and go through the process with continuous support. Whether you choose one session or more, you will be able to rehearse, receive feedback and discuss any worries about the process to go forward confidently into your audition.
Liv to be Confident
Drama and theatre training is highly beneficial for building confidence in people. We understand that not everyone is looking to get up on stage and perform but instead aim to become more confident individuals, whether that be preparing for a speech or presentation at work or a wedding and more, school assemblies, managing nerves for interviews, or even for navigating conversation in everyday life.
While providing one-to-one coaching at Liv for Performance, Liv also works as a Support for Learning Assistant in a Primary School and has experience working with children who have additional support needs. Our one-to-one classes are fitted to the individual who we are working with and can adapt to the needs of our clients making this the ideal session for those who have additional support needs.
We also understand that having the right person to grow and build with is vital so our first session for confidence building is free of charge to make sure we are the right fit for your needs, which we really hope to be!

Liv for Group Coaching
This form of coaching focuses on teaching drama to a very small group of people who are already comfortable together. Sometimes performing can be daunting in a large class but just as scary to try it alone. Small Group Coaching allows groups of siblings or friends to take part in more individual coaching sessions without the nerves of being the only person. We are currently looking at group sizes of 2-4 people, however, if you do require more spaces please do get in touch and we can look how to accommodate this.
Liv for Acting Lessons
Individual Theatre Coaching allows you to learn the basics of drama, acting and performance one-to-one in a safe supportive space. We explore different styles and forms of drama and theatre using performance skills and research. This session is great for those looking to learn more about the world of theatre at their own pace and interest, as well as those looking to build further on knowledge of the theatrical and performance world.
